Red Roasted Salsa {3 Easy Steps}

Are you looking for a delicious “can’t stop eating” kinda of Salsa? This is the easiest red roasted salsa that you will find and did I mention it only takes 3 easy steps? If you are hosting a party or just want to have salsa on pretty much anything (or in my case everything) you can make this on a whim.

1. Place the 8 tomatoes, jalapeños and garlic on a griddle and char each side of each and continue to turn until all sides are blackened.

3. Pour into a bowl and enjoy!

I have two other  easy salsa recipes that you may also want to try. I always have at least one or two of these in my refrigerator available to have on any meal. It’s a great way to add some flavor to veggies or salads without adding to the waistline.

Latina Mama Rama

  1. Yummy!! Pinning, Tweeting, and G+’ing

  2. I love homemade salsa. We make it all the time in the summer…and most of the time we roast our tomatoes and peppers! Looks delicious!

  3. I’m always on the lookout for a great salsa. I have to ask: do you have a recipe for a so-hot-it-will-make-you-cry-salsa? My husband is never satisfied with the amount of hotness and considering he drinks hot sauce out of the bottle without even wincing… it’s kinda hard to satisfy that!

    • Funny you say that! My husband is the same way. You can add habanero or 2 with the jalapeños to give it so hot that it make you cry salsa. LOL! It the same recipe just adjusting what kind of peppers you add. Let me know how it works out.
