Chocolate Coke Vanilla Float

Chocolate Coke Vanilla Float is something that was inspired from my love of coke and chocolate. I have been combining these two together for my cravings and my boys are completely hooked on this, but seriously who wouldn’t be? This reminds me of the soda pop  fountains at the five and dimes that are now long gone – anyone remember the soda fountain at Woolworths? They where fading away when I was a little girl. Since I cannot take my boys to the old drug store soda fountain, I have created them at home and this is the favorite right now.

Chocolate Coke Vanilla Float

Chocolate Coke Vanilla Float ingredients

Vanilla Ice Cream

Hershey’s syrup

Hershey’s Magic Shell

When using a glass make sure that the glass is tall enough for all the ingredients. I love to frost the glasses that I use to make my float in.  I use Hershey’s Magic Shell to add a chocolate coating to a frosted glass or mug. My kids love this! I fill coke in the glass and add a drizzle of Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup and mix together. Scoop vanilla ice cream on top and slightly drizzle some more Hershey’s syrup over the ice cream.

To lighten up, you can use the following: diet coke, sugar free  chocolate syrup and frozen vanilla yogurt.
